1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Meet & Watch ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Meet & Watch ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to the Meet & Watch website, services, and applications
• "User" refers to any person using the Platform
• "Event" refers to watch parties or gatherings organized through the Platform
• "Venue" refers to physical locations where events take place
• "Organizer" refers to users who create events
• "Venue Manager" refers to users who manage venue profiles
• "Content" refers to any information, data, or materials posted on the Platform

3. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Not be prohibited from using the Platform under applicable laws
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

You may create an account using:

• Email and password
• OAuth providers (Google, Discord)

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4.3 Account Types & Subscriptions

Note: The platform is currently in beta and free to use. The following pricing will apply upon commercial launch:

• Fan: Access to discover and join events
• Organizer: Create and manage events + fan features
• Venue Manager: Manage venue profiles and approve events

5. User Conduct

5.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You will not:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Distribute spam, malware, or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data without permission
• Interfere with the Platform's operation or security

5.2 Content Standards

All content you post must:

• Be accurate and not misleading
• Comply with applicable laws
• Not contain hate speech, violence, or adult content
• Not violate others' privacy or rights
• Be relevant to esports watch parties

6. Events

6.1 Event Creation

Event organizers must:

• Provide accurate event information
• Obtain necessary permissions from venue owners
• Comply with local laws and regulations
• Honor event commitments and attendance limits
• Cancel events responsibly with advance notice

6.2 Event Participation

By joining an event, you agree to:

• Attend as confirmed or notify organizers of cancellation
• Respect venue rules and policies
• Behave appropriately and respectfully
• Comply with age restrictions and entry requirements

6.3 Platform's Role

Meet & Watch is a platform that facilitates connections. We do not:

• Organize, host, or control events
• Guarantee event quality or safety
• Assume liability for event-related issues
• Verify all event details or organizer credentials

7. Venues

7.1 Venue Registration

Venue managers must:

• Have legal authority to represent the venue
• Provide accurate venue information
• Maintain required licenses and permits
• Comply with local regulations

7.2 Venue Verification

Verified venues have been reviewed by our team. Verification does not guarantee:

• Event quality or safety
• Compliance with all regulations
• Specific venue standards

7.3 Event Approval

Venue managers have the right to:

• Approve or reject event requests
• Set terms and conditions for events at their venue
• Cancel approved events with reasonable notice

8. Payments and Subscriptions

8.1 Subscription Fees

• Subscription fees are charged monthly in advance
• All fees are non-refundable unless required by law
• We may change fees with 30 days' notice
• Failed payments may result in service suspension

8.2 Event Tickets (when available)

• Ticket prices are set by event organizers
• The Platform may charge a service fee
• Refund policies are determined by organizers
• Tickets are non-transferable unless specified

8.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period. No partial refunds are provided.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Platform Content

All Platform content (design, code, text, graphics, logos) is owned by Meet & Watch or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

9.2 User Content

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the Platform
• Use your content for promotional purposes
• Modify content for technical requirements

9.3 Esports Content

Game names, logos, and tournament information are trademarks of their respective owners. We claim no ownership over third-party intellectual property.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the Platform, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

We disclaim all warranties, including:

• Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Security or freedom from viruses
• Results obtained from using the Platform

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meet & Watch shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Events organized through the Platform
• Actions or conduct of users or third parties
• Unauthorized access to your account or data

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in subscription fees in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meet & Watch from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of others
• Events you organize or attend
• Content you post

14. Termination

14.1 By You

You may terminate your account at any time through account settings.

14.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Fail to pay subscription fees
• Harm the Platform or other users

14.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your access to the Platform will cease
• Your data may be deleted (see Privacy Policy)
• Sections that should survive (indemnification, liability) remain in effect

15. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

16.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through:

• Good faith negotiations
• Mediation (if negotiations fail)
• Arbitration or courts of France (as applicable)

16.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class actions.

17. Miscellaneous

• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Meet & Watch
• Severability: If any provision is invalid, the rest remains in effect
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right doesn't waive that right
• Assignment: You may not assign these Terms; we may assign without restriction
• Force Majeure: We're not liable for delays due to circumstances beyond our control
